FLU VACCINATION

You are eligible to book an appointment for a flu vaccination if you are aged 65 or over or, whatever your age, if you suffer from:

 

• Diabetes

 

• Chronic respiratory disease, including asthma

 

• Kidney disease

 

• Liver disease

 

• Heart disease

 

• Neurological disease, including stroke

 

• Lowered immunity due to disease or treatment

 

• If you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill

 

Please be kind enough to make sure that elderly relatives or neighbours are made aware and, if necessary, assisted in making an appointment.

 

PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINATION

 

If you are over 65 years old or suffer with any of the diseases above it is recommended that you have a pneumococcal vaccination.  Please book an appointment with the nurse for this vaccination.
