Family Planning

A full Family Planning Service is provided at both surgeries.  Advice can be given by either the Doctor or Nurse, although once you have reached a decision about a chosen method of contraception you will need to make an appointment with the Doctor.

Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception is provided by the Practice and the service is free and confidential.  It is is most effective when given early, but can be used up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.  Additional alternative methods are available for the period between 72 and 120 hours after unprotected sex.  Please consult either a doctor or nurse.
