What is Choose and Book?

Choose and Book is a new service that allows you to choose your hospital and/or clinic appointment with a specialist. When your GP considers it necessary for you to see a specialist you will be able to attend the hospital of your choice. The secretaries will process your referral and will endeavour to contact you at the time of booking to arrange a suitable date and time. However, on occasions where this is not possible, an appointment will be arranged on your behalf which can be re-arranged if not convenient.
